November 2011 Stock Market Returns. Lasco Financial Leads.

For the savvy investors here (as I am aware of the not so savvy among us), this is a highlight of stocks that provided the highest returns on the Stock Market for the month of November. This means, if you had purchased any of these shares at the last day in October and held it till the last day in November, the amount you invested would have increased by this percent.

  1. Lasco Financial Services Limited – 73.72% (+$2.89) > to close at $6.81
  2. AMG Packaging & Paper Co. – 44.09% (+$1.53) > to close at $5
  3. Barita Investments Limited – 35.25% (+$1.29) > to close at $4.95
  4. Caribbean Cement Co – 34.51% (+$0.78) > to close at $3.04
  5. Dolphin Cove Limited – 23.49% (+$1.75) > to close at $9.2
  6. Jamaican Teas Limited – 22.89% (+$0.95) > to close at $5.1
  7. Ciboney Group – 20% (+$0.01) > to close at $0.06
  8. Ja Money Market Brokers – 14.19% (+$1.56) > to close at $12.55
  9. Kingston Wharves – 13.5% (+$0.69) > to close at $5.8
  10. Cable & Wireless Ja – 11.11% (+$0.02) > to close at $0.2

GraceKennedy Ltd saw the largest incerase in dollar value movement (not percentage), increasing $5.36 (9.62%) to close at 61.08 in November.

The top 10 performing companies for this year so far, as it relates to percentage increase in their share price are listed below. JMMB saw the largest increase moving from $4 to $12.55 at the end of November.

  9. Supreme Ventures – 42.86% ($2.17 to $3.10)
  10. Sagicor Life Jamaica – 42.40% ($7.24 to $10.31)
