JSE Launches Bond Market. Fixed Income Securities To Get A Boost

The Jamaica Stock Exchange recently launched its bond market (yesterday June 26, 2013) which now paves the way for fixed income securities to be traded on the exchange. Mrs. Marlene Street-Forrest described it as saying that this is one more step to them becoming more than a stock exchange and more a securities exchange.

Currently there are no bonds listed on the market, but the platform is ready to accept new issues.
