Financial Institutions Pushing Loans for Solar Projects

I wrote recently about Solar Energy and how it is becoming more of an area of concern/focus. Well this week we have 2 local financial institutions offering loans to finance solar related projects; solar systems and/or water heaters.

First there is RBC

What do you think about this new thrust by banks to offer loans for solar related projects? Is there really demand in this area?
