Carib Cement Lands Small Venezuelan Deal. But Hopes To Build On It

While it is being described as a small deal, I’m sure Caribbean Cement Company (CCC) is happy that they have finally landed a deal to supply Venezuela with 200,000 tonnes of clinker over the next 12 months.

What they’re hoping to do though is to find some real opportunities to boost their cement sales from the Venezuelan market by doing business with them. I hope it works out.

The verbal agreement was reached between the governments of Jamaica and the South American country, according to just released statements from CCC parent company Trinidad Cement Limited (TCL).

It forms part of reverse trade flows afforded under the PetroCaribe concessionary oil agreement.
