Supreme Ventures to delist from Trinidad & Tobago exchange

Supreme Ventures Limited

Gaming and Lottery company Supreme Ventures Limited (SVL) has opted to delist from the Trinidad & Tobago Stock Exchange (TTSE), citing high costs and low trading volumes.

Based on a release to its shareholders on January 31, 2012 it claimed that the low levels of trading do not justify the costs associated with the costs associated with maintaining the listing. They are also expecting that the activation of the Caribbean Exchange Network (CXN) will facilitiate trade across the Caribbean.

FCIBJ, which was delisted from the Jamaica Stock Exchange at the end of 2011 is the most recent company to under take such a move.
